Convert PDF to Word without uploading your file
Extract text from a PDF into an editable Word document. Your browser does the conversion. The file is never uploaded.
The conversion runs entirely in your browser. The file never leaves your computer. No signup, no upload, no tracking.
This tool extracts text content from the PDF and creates a Word document (.docx) with the extracted text organized into paragraphs. It works best with text-based PDFs (reports, letters, articles). Complex layouts, tables, and embedded images may not transfer accurately.
What to expect
PDF was designed for viewing, not editing. Converting to Word means reconstructing a document’s structure from its visual layout, which is a fundamentally imprecise process. Simple text documents convert well. Multi-column layouts, complex tables, and heavily formatted documents will lose some structure. Scanned PDFs (where pages are images, not text) will produce empty or minimal output since there is no text to extract.
If you need pixel-perfect PDF to Word conversion, a desktop application like Adobe Acrobat or LibreOffice will give better results. This tool is best for quick text extraction when you need something editable fast.
Why we do not upload your PDF
PDF-to-Word services that upload your file can produce better results because they run full document analysis on a server. The tradeoff is that your document passes through their system. For a resume, a contract, or a medical form, that tradeoff is not worth it. This tool gives you reasonable results with absolute privacy.
